CAMPAIGNS Congratulations, you have finally arrived at the pages of why Haringey Solidarity Group, or HSG to close friends, actually exists. Well actually we exist to help create a world where "each of us gets from society what they need, and each of us put into that society what we can. A society where we (all of us) control our own lives and no boss, politician or any other bully tells us what to do". Mind you, we also exist so that people locally can meet up with each other, find out whats going on and get to know the local gossip - eg where the party is tonight etc etc. The pages that follow are about campaigns we have been involved in past and present. Some of them are for up to date information - and by all means nick anything you want. Others are for archive purposes, so we remember the successes and failures we - all of us, that is - had. Hopefully some of the stuff will inspire; some will help you, for example, with squatting or against the old bill; other bits may be a bit depressing as they explain our failings. All of it is there to hopefully make OUR movement (what does that mean then?) stronger. Read on dear friends.
