"Took a little while to get going, but we had a reasonably successful day - distributed membership leaflets, sold copies of our newsletter, and talked to people about our interests. We also had some contact with some of the other groups campaigning on similar issue. And we enjoyed the live music and signed up a new member!"

"Vegan campaigns stall - I think it's a really good and positive event - we have engaged with a diversity of people a lot of whom weren't vegetarian - we were also able to find out about other local-based issues. The food stall which we ran was very successful. IT would be good to get more people along to future events with increased advertising."
